I am definitely interested in the MAT-49 kit. I have been looking all over for a MAT-49. Please let me know what you need to acquire one.
Thanks.

Latest edition to my collection...
A MAS36/51 rifle with integral grenade launcher. I just now need the CR39 folding stock variant for a full house.
Pictures to follow.

Out of interest, does anyone have or know of any pictures of the MAS36/51 in use in Indo? I have a few of the LG48 being used, but can't remember seeing any for the '51.

Good catch Cookie!!!!
February must have been the month for 36/51's!
I haven't been able to find pics of the 36/51 in Indochine, but I have heard of a vague reference to their use at DBP.....
I picked up one last week as well, I am currently in the experimental stage on fireable "faux" M48 grenades. I will keep the board updated on progress!!!!

Renault,
I'll set up another thread dedicated to the 36/51 and the LG48 so we can put our pics and research up...
We tried making fake rifle grenades for one of our guy's live Springfield '03 rifle... They were consistent in their failure. But they were very very funny to watch. We tried all sorts of materials to make sure they were NOT dangerous but the force of the launch tended to blow them to pieces at the muzzle. Toilet roll tubes, plastic, card etc etc. All tried, all failed in spectacular fashion! Bon chance!
I just saw my error in stating they were made to be dangerous - they werent!

Merci,
Several close associates here haveactually been quite sucessful with them. Matter of fact we've perfected the launching of "Faux" grenade from Soviet SKS's and AK's in our Op For group! Another individual has been pretty sucessful with his models on his M-1 Garand!!!!
( I won't bore you with our really cool working RPG's! ;D)
I have several options for material and much of the "leg-work" has already been done. So I have been told what NOT to do! ;D
I will keep things updated on the 36/51 sub-board !!!!
