I've been reviewing what's available for reproduction Indochina-appropriate French uniforms and there seems to be a pretty wide range of prices. Is the WPG M47 TAP uniform ($400) worth the price? Is the panzerfaust-1943 M47/52 TAP uniform ($260) that much better than the WPG M47/52 TAP camo uniform ($155)? I'm curious what you all think is the most accurate, best quality reproduction French uniform, regardless of price.
Thanks,
Jeff

I- as well as craigtx and a bunch of others- have PF's 47/52 set. It's simply superb. The attention to detail is outstanding. Craig and I orchestrated the group buy that brought those to light. He handled the rest of the customers, I was the liaison with Cary (PF). Very easy dude to work with, and his knowledge base is considerable. Cary's lizard camo casquettes Bigeard compare very positively to the original I have. I've not had me mitts on WPG's 47/52 set, but I do have a pair of their Mle. 47 TAP trousers. As with the aforementioned 47/52's, they are first rate. Heavy material, not a stitch out of place, and the details are all on point. The colors on Cary's 47/52's look a little better, but, if you wanted to cheap out, I don't think you would be missing much. Here's a link to photos of WPG's set. In summation, money being of little importance, I'd pay the extra for PF's 47'52's, and get the Mle. 47 or CEFEO TAP set from WPG.

I'd agree with Steve. That's the way I'd go.
