Hi all
Picked up one of these recently, its 3 part construction tan / khaki coloured cotton and has a light brown leather head band with ties at the back.
Any ideas?
Cheers Danny

Do you mean the British WWII Far East version of the General Service (G.S.) Cap? [ I think the Brits called it "Cap, Ridiculous" but can't remember...

In Algeria, it was worn by airborne support units and the Saharan Companies. The airborne units did wear it for a few years, particularly for field exercises after the end of the war until the mid-60's.
