You should get in there with the guy. Those trenches would also be good for a DBP photoshoot!

Cookie, I was thinking the same thing!
If they build the trench system, we could plan a DBP event there for the future ... paying whatever the price would be to hold the event. They can cancel the port-a-potties when were there (we have our e-tools!)
It's located in the middle of the state as I-35 is the main interstate that runs south from the midwest, down into Texas and to the Gulf Coast, providing a straight shot for those coming from the midwest (Grayden ... catch that transmission?)
There is a number listed for a guy named "Dave" who is heading up the project ... so I might call just to see whats up.
WWI is big on living history, especially hands-on in the trenches. A DBP re-enactment could help provide extra hands to expand the trench network, work on them and possibly, even an area set aside for DBP reenacting. It's certainly worth a shot...

Great news Mick. Keep me posted as Im just south of there where the trenches are near Temple. Also excellent on the upcoming spot on SaigonTV!!!!
Its great to see the community support for the AFCWA and the 3e BCCP building!
