I called What Price Glory today to see if they were considering making reproductions of the model TTA 47 uniform. I was told that the project is in the works presently and should available in a month or so. This would mean coat and trousers. We shall see. ADMINS: IF THIS IN THE WRONG SECTION, PLEASE PLACE IT WHERE YOU FEEL IT BELONGS.

Craig: We need to use overwhelming force and smite this wrongdoer.
Or, we could probably just leave it here as it seems an appropriate topic. Flip a coin?
I was on their site checking out their Rhodesian sleeping bag and saw the TTA uniforms. Given how abundant those were only a few years ago, I never thought I'd see the day when there was a demand for repros. Cool that they're stepping up, though.

Steve: First offence, a slap on the wrists will do. After all, this does seem to be the appropriate category...
The TTAs are already on the site?? I need to pick up a jacket as the sleeve length is a little short on the originals that I have.

The TTAs on the website currently are originals that Jerry found. I know that repros are in the works.

I have two original 47/52 (I think they are) jackets but sleeve length for me has always been hopeless, even when I was in the army. So for the jackets, I let out the sleeves as much as I could (about 1 1/4-inch). Of course, the actual original jackets came in more sizes than small, medium and large.

By now you all know that WPG has all those reproduction uniforms, including shirts and khaki trousers. But you may have missed all the other new reproductions they now list, mostly British, including the original olive-green British combat suits, both smock and trousers, as well as all manner of windproofs, including the later version with a full zip front. Also Rhodesian stuff if you missed the original stuff first time round.
