That should work. I'd add a Mle 49 Chapeaux de Brousse, and a pair of pataugas. I'd also determine what unit as there were "typical combinations" according to unit.
1e BEP: Windproof trousers and frogskin jacket or Mle. 47/52 tenue de saut TAP 6e BPC and 2e BEP: Windproof trousers, frogskin jacket; Windproof Bigeard cap 8e Choc: any combo of Windproofs, frogskins, Denison smocks, tenue de TAP Mle. 47 or Extrême-Orient trousers; no chapeau de brousse (unit-specific cap or frogskin beret) II/1e RPC: all Windproofs and nothing but that; frogskin camo bush hat 1e BPC and 35e RALP: Mle. 47/52 tenue de saut TAP 5e BPVN Mle. 47/53 tenue de saut TAP

At the time, the only units I'd consider to fall under the aegis of "special forces" would be the aforementioned GCMA (definitely doing work that we would associate with USSF 'Green Berets' later in Vietnam), 1e BPC during the early years, and elements of 11e BPC in a training role 1951-1954 (although some members were present in the attempted relief efoort of Dien Bien Phu, 'Op. Vouture'). The Commandos de Marine were were tasked with coastal and riverine interdiction, in a manner not too dissimilar from the US Navy SEALs a decade or so later. There were various commando units, mainly in Tonkin, but these typically operated in a conventional manner. In Algeria, one would add the Commandos Paracutistes de l'Air to the milieu. Craig's list is good and succinct, so nicely done on his part.
