I've had this Kepi probably 20 years. Last week I decided to start thinning the collection some and when I looked at this I realized I never gave this one much thought. I believe it's a 1935-50 and also just figured an Infantry Sous Lieutenant. But in that time frame it would include Zouaves and possibly Para's. Am I thinking too much and getting way off track. Anyway I decided to keep this one. It might have a story more than I gave it credit for.

Well, as far as I can tell it's not Legion. The chinstrap buttons are not Legion, nor the grenade. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much more, I'm a Legion guy and my knowledge pretty much ends there.

Buttons are infantry. Hard to tell the model without a look at the inside and manufacturer; but definitely Infantry Junior officer.
