Hi all, I did sign in mostly to share experiences and to learn something new if possible... I am from the Czech republic and I ve stated with French thema cca 10years ago.. but only past 5 years its more serious... what I am doing is mostly reenacting or milsim airsoft main theme is Indochina/Algerie at the moment I am not doing any specific french unit.. I am just slightly focused on FFL paras because of large portion of czechs involved in indochna campaign and period cca 1950 - 1978 for the airsoft purposes I am trying to bring alive french guns - I ve succeeded with MAS36 (two finished - one springer, one CO2) and MAT49 There is a few guys in CZ with the same passion so time to time we go out for a photoshoot or airsoft.... I hope that my participation herewill help me and also you... cause I am still strugling with many problems for example - where the hell could I get a TAP50/51 musette? why s nobody making correct TAP47/52 replicas? and so on... below few photos to present myself and ourselves

Holy shit! Those impressions are tops. 5 out of 5 stars, maybe. I'd ditch the M3 Grease Gun for something more representative, but at least some did show up in Indo, so it's not totally inaccurate. The last picture looks straight out of Kabylia, 1957.
Bienvenue sur notre forum!
I'll be in Praha and Plsen the first week of March. If you're in the area, we can meet up for some brews.
Cheers!

Rullow:
The photos look great, thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum.
Where did you come up with a thatched hut in the Czech Republic?
Cheers Steven

Cest Manifique!
Love the sepia toned photos, the rougher graininess of the pictures are most realistic. Thanks for sharing, and welcome to the group.

Hi all, thanks for the comments 4 lew - I am from Pilsen, so if you ll be here we can indeed taste some beers yep the grease guns and thompsons are not ideal - neither the way we wore our hats - its 3 years ago and since that we ve learned a lot arms always been and are a big problem for a milsim airsoft - only realy correct things are M1 carbines and Garands.... However I am trying to improve this and for this year I have a plan of 3 airsoft MAS36 rifles and one MAS49/56... hopefully one of them as CR ABout the last one - I am not sure if they had -18° in the Kabylia this winter is tough.... 4 slehman - thanks the hut is part of a village made to look a like vietnam - even with the underground tunnels and connected to narrowgauge railway... with a vietnam era base nearby.... and this all thanks to a strong community of nam era airsofters and reenactors.... but as everything it has its drawbacks - its in the area destined for pulic as an amusement park with military themes.... so during the weekends from 11 - 17 its full of people.... luckilly its all in the former Russian military area/base so arount is quite a lot of interesting location and just a few people around... some photos here: on the other hand I have few questions - does anyone have the TAP50 or TAP50/51 mussette and is willing to give me the measures? I found out the even if d have the money to buy me one - it close to impossible to find any for sell and thus I ve decided why not to try made a new one from scratch or by modification of M36 mussette (or some of its copies) Have a nice weekend
