I have some radios in my collection I am using for my early Bundeswehr collectin and for Indochina use.
I have the BC-1000 (walkie talkie) SRC 534 (handy talkie) PRC 10 GRC 9 and equipment, like the GN58 hand crank generator and huge amounts of microphones, headsets etc All were used during the Indochina war and Algeria, but I also have a PRC 6 (banana)
Would the PRC 6 be legit for Indochina? Algeria yes, I found a few pics of the early 60´s with the PRC 6 in Algerie, but I think Indochina (latest 1954) would be too early, but the PRC 6 was already in production.
Any ideas?

The PRC-6 was not used in Indochina. It and moreso the French copies- TRRP-8 and -11- were definitely used in Algeria. The PRC-10 was seen in the later years in Indo and the STA ER779A licensed copy was the standard manpack radio for Algeria.
