I have had a hard time finding the web gear the FFL used in Indochina, I know they use some m1936 American gear, but I was unsure of which pieces and if there was other gear they used, also for those who use m1 carbines, how do you store you magazines, I have heard that the has mags are to wide for the actual m1 pouches, thanks and I hope to hear back from soneone

eBay.fr is your best bet for the French TAP (Troupes Aéroportées) Mle. 50 belt, Mle. 50 or 50/53 braces, and Mle. 50 magazine pouches for the Mle. 36/Mle. 49/M1 Carbine. The TAP Mle. 50 SMG pouches might work for your Airsoft magazines.
At The Front in Kentucky is the best one-stop shop for US web gear.
The Legion troops in Indochina used all sorts of French, US, and British (mainly early War) cotton canvas web and leather equipment. The parachute battalions typically used the web gear, but some regular Legion infantry and cavalry did as well- French, US, or a mix of both. You will first need to pick a unit and a time period to determine what equipment they used.
