To all participants,
The following constitute the minimum regulations needed to participate in the National battle at Parsons. Please note that Viet Minh ( VM ) guidelines will be coming as well. Lets get the word out for this first-ever event! If you have any questions, feel free to contact:

LEGION AIRBORNE Headgear: US WWII M1 airborne or infantry helmet; chapeau de brousse, green beret with badge. Jacket: 47/52, 53, M47 or HBT or camouflage "duckhunter". Trousers: 47/52, M47, HBT or camouflage "duckhunter". Webbing: Combined French TAP and US Army. Footgear: Model 50 French jump boots, French Army splashers, US Army double buckles.
METRO or COLONIAL AIRBORNE Headgear: US WWII M1 helmet (preferred) or French M51, chapeau de brousse, red berets. Jacket: British WWII Denison smock., British Windproof camo top Trousers: Combination M47 or US Army HBT, British Windproof camo trousers Webbing: Combined French TAP and US Army. Footwear: Model 50 French jump boots, splashers, US army/ French WWII double buckles.
LEGION INFANTRY *** No camouflage *** Headgear: US WWII M1 helmet or French M51; kepi blanc, chapeau de brousse, brown Fortress beret for 13e DBLE. Jacket: M47 set or combination M47, HBT, khaki drill. Trousers: M47 set or combination M47 or HBT. Webbing: Combined French TAP and US Army, M38 leggings. Webbing 13e DBLE: WWII US. Footgear: French splashers, US/French Double Buckles or British WWII ammo boots.
COLONIAL INFANTRY Headgear: Army WWII M1 helmet or French M51, chapeau de brousse, bonnet de police. Jacket: French M47 with combination US Army WWII HBT Trousers: French M47 with combination US Army WWII HBT. Webbing: Combined French TAP and US Army WWII webbing or French WWI/WWII leather equipment. Footgear: French splashers, US WWII Double Buckle or British Ammo boots.

To further break this down by (airborne) unit:
1e BEP: Windproof trousers and frogskin jacket or Mle. 47/52 tenue de saut TAP 6e BPC and 2e BEP: Windproof trousers, frogskin jacket; Windproof Bigeard cap 8e Choc: any combo of Windproofs, frogskins, Denison smocks, tenue de TAP Mle. 47 or Extrême-Orient trousers; no chapeau de brousse (unit-specific cap or frogskin beret) II/1e RPC: all Windproofs and nothing but that; frogskin camo bush hat 1e BPC and 35e RALP: Mle. 47/52 tenue de saut TAP 5e BPVN Mle. 47/53 tenue de saut TAP
Metro Paras- IIe/1e RPC and 35e RALP- should have a royal blue beret.
*I'm sure most folks no this, but please note: "Lizard" camo Bigeard caps and berets were an Algerian War thing. Not gonna fly for Indo.

Yessir. It seems everyone was wearing a helmet as the siege went on and the perimeter shrunk.

Alrighty folks, we're about 90 days out. As far as I know a group blank buy is not panning out. CEFEO forces will need 200 rounds of blanks for long arms, and I would say maybe 50 rounds for sidearms. CEFEO forces are limited due to supply difficulties as the siege wore on.
Unit commanders, if any of your members have special needs, ie medical conditions/allergies that need to be prepared for, please let Mick know. Also please let Mick know if any of your members are EMT/first aid certified.
