Hi guys, Just like too say hello to all who have joined and support this forum.
I'm Russ and run a living history group in the UK called Allied Forces Living History Association.
We've been running as this group since starting it 12 months ago. Most of the group are veterans of the UK living history scene, with at least 10 years experience of living history.
We generally portray US World War 2, this includes,
82nd 505 PIR Pathfinders First Special Service Force 2nd, 3rd, 6th Armoured Infantry.
This is just a few, we've also got the field hospital side which enables us to involve the girls also in living history.
We have within the group privately owned US vehicles, this is made up of: 2 Half tracks 1 Gmc 1 6 wheel dodge 4 Jeeps.
So based on the kit the natural progress was Indochina. We're slowly getting the Impression together with the guys in the group, not everyone takes to it that easy!
All the guys have US Army frog skins as these were issued to 2nd AD in July 1944. They're all getting green patagus jungle boots and chapeau de brousse's.
Looks like we're going along with Parachutistes De La Legion Etrangere to start with.
I'm sorry I can't post any pictures up of our first attempt at Indochina due to having computer issues and access to photos.
You can also check us out on our Facebook page, search for Allied Forces Living History Association.
If your in the UK and want to hook up in 2014, please get in touch. We're currently looking at our 2014 calendar of events.
Will add more information later.
Many thanks Russ.

Welcome! Looks like a great start. Couple things, and you are probably aware of these: 1) Need more diversity in the weapons department. 2) You all look so British! ;D Cheers from across the pond. Good luck! -Steve

I'm not sure that this board offers photo hosting (doesn't look like it). Upload to your photo hosting service of choice (photobucket, etc...) and attach the url.
Cheers!

Is it just the four pictures of the 2e BEP thing? The impressions look very good. I hope you folks had a fun time putting those together.
