Just got the French book "Paras Francaise Algerie 1954-1962"
It is the 2. Volume of the first book "Paras Francais en Indochine" and covers the later para suits, the helmets, uniforms, berets.
Also the unit histries of the para regiments are mentioned.
A lot of details (jump badges, camo hats, shoulder boards, ecussons) are very good.
So definatley a must have for all francophile collectors.

The first volume (Paras Français en Indochine) and the second both have a lot of overlap, and are best approached as being the same book divided in two, instead of focusing entirely on the periods alluded to in the title. Get both.

Yes, that´s I bought both, also I have the two volume book "1940 le Soldat Francais" by Olivier Bellec. A lot of WW2 equipment and weapons are descripted. So sometimes helpful in FICW-terms.

I need to grab that one.
Do you have "La Légion Étrangère en Indochine 1946-1956"? It's part of the Heimdal collection. I'd assume it's as outstanding as the reviews say, as well as up to the quality of the Paras series and "13e RDP: Combats en Algérie de la Kabylie au Constantinois".

No, sorry. Have to get it. But my budget for my hobby is not the biggest, so I have only about 200 € a month to spend. Unfortunately.

Preachin' to the choir on that. I'm about 97% done with books and equipment, but scrounging together some money for the last bit isn't easy.
