I live in NE ohio. I have been involved in living history/reenacting for quite a few years, where I was with a U.S. Infantry unit. For the last few years I have been portraying a French-Canadian Infantryman when I go to Conneaut D-Day.
My impression for this year will be a French Commando (No 4 Commando).
I have had an interest in the Indochina War for quite a while but there is really nothing here in my area.
My heritage is French as well as my last name.

Bienvenue my friend, and welcome to the board. Great to have another reenactor in our group.
Per your post about being new FICW ... wait a few years and I bet you will see or hear about an FICW unit in your general locale. This part of history is pretty much forgotten, so only those with who have a sincere, deep interest in the Indo-china war, the French, the Legion or southeast asia in particular would be interested in what we do - making this part of the hobby very, very unique.
You'll find like minded people here... ;D
