Friend of mine sent me an email and said tha the free virus software at cnet.com works quite well. Anyone have any info on this product?

Do you know exactly which antivirus program it is? There's a bunch on cnet. Some are much better than others. Also, some are only trials, which means that after 30 days you will have to buy it (in some cases you can keep using it, but can't update it).
Almost forgot to add... check with your ISP and see if they offer an antivirus program. I'm not crazy about Comcast, but I get McAfee antivirus and firewall (one of the better ones) for free through them.

Thanks Grog, I'll check and see.
I don't know the program as I will have to look and choose, but a friend said it was excellent at cleaning up the system.
