Norway!!!!!!!!!!!! Now talk about being creative and beating the bushes to find kit!!!!! I would have never guessed Norway. LOL - I have a contact who is the QM at Bergen Navy storage yards - I managed to get a set of 42 dated M36 suspenders, plus belt, and a set of M43 suspenders in OG... The amount of ex German kit there is unbelievevable...

Our USMC unit did a NATO op in Norway in 1980. I believe the Norwegian Army was still using either Panther MkIV's or Tigers then!

Oggy,
If you find a surplus source for militaria coming out of Norway that you can share with us - feel free to post it. I can just as easily wear ATF-manufactured suspenders as I can ones that are stamped "Norge."

Who's that goofy looking dude? Thanks for the photos. Looks like the WPG set is perfectly serviceable, at least as much as the Panzerfaust option.

its a bearded hobo I forced to pose for the photos btw - first problem noted - the buckle on the sleeve enclosing can deform very easily.... probably I ll either cut it off and insert a shrinkable lanyard into the sleeve end, either I ll replace it by a simple button.... this buckle tightening system is not easy to operate anyway....

Damn gypsy!
That's rotten about the buckle. Hopefully, you can rig up an alternative.
